For more than 130 years men and women left the comforts of their homeland to serve God in a distant place. In many parts of the world they are a powerful witness of the dedication of Adventists in service.

What is happening today?

The reality is that world mission is alive today. We send missionaries to every corner of the world each year. Missionaries work in many fields, such as education and health care. They offer Bible study, literacy courses, training, development and relief activities, church planting and leadership training, and more to show the love of God. Missionaries are working constantly to serve wherever they are needed.
