For the next four months, Dr. Lee received cards and emails from around the world. Friends and colleagues, many of whom had lost touch with her through the years, reconnected and reminisced. Former students, some of whom are now teachers, expressed appreciation for the positive impact she made on their lives. And many of you who have never met her thanked her for her years of service and shared how her life inspired you.
Thank you for bringing Dr. Lee so much joy! Your generous response has given me a glimpse into the countless lives a missionary can bless in a lifetime of loving ministry.
