Picture Story: Ghana

Ebenezer is a Global Mission pioneer in Ghana. For months, he and fellow pioneer Nicholas have walked door to door, visiting people and inviting them to learn about Jesus. At first, no one was sure what to make of them. Who were these men claiming to have “Good News” and just what was this news anyway? One day, they knocked on a door and some children answered. They told Ebenezer and Nicholas to leave. As they continued down the street, suddenly the children started waving and yelling after them. The pioneers thought the children were calling to someone else, but they shouted, “No, you!” Startled, they went back to the house, and standing in the doorway was the children’s mother. She told them that she’d heard a voice say, “Go see those people who have come here.” But when she had asked about the visitors, the children didn’t know who they were. She quickly told them to call the two pioneers back to meet her. Today, Ebenezer and Nicholas are studying the Bible with this family and sharing more and more of their love for Jesus each week.
